We have given a lot of consideration as to how we can do more to support the nationwide heritage sector, as we all rebuild from the pandemic. We have made the decision to close our Sudeley Castle membership to new members and instead exclusively promote joining the Historic Houses scheme, to increase their supporting numbers and extend the opportunity of visiting more national heritage sites across the UK, alongside access to Sudeley Castle.

Lady Ashcombe and Sudeley Castle were one of the founding members of the Historic Houses Association and have supported their incredible work for more than 50 years, allowing access to their members as well as our own for a number of years.

The Historic Houses mission is to protect and preserve Britain’s heritage for future generations, and over 50,000 people are already Historic Houses members, enjoying many of Britain’s best heritage homes and gardens for free. With hundreds of places, you are never far away from a stunning mansion, glorious garden or impressive castle that you can visit for free as a Historic Houses member, including Sudeley Castle.

From 29 April we will no longer be selling Sudeley Castle memberships however all current memberships will remain valid until your expiration date.

Enter 'SUDE44' when joining the HHA membership to qualify for a discounted membership price, and they will also make a matching donation to Sudeley Castle.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who have been with us for many years, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and to our new members who have joined recently. We have been delighted to have welcomed so many of you back to our grounds since re-opening in April.

All current memberships remain valid until your expiration date. Historic Houses have also confirmed a discount for Sudeley Castle members when joining the HHA membership. This discount code, and details on how to join will be emailed to you closer to your memberships expiration date.
