Sudeley Castle is joining forces with Butterfly Conservation to look after the UK's butterflies.

1 - 2 August

Come along and discover all the different types of butterfly the Castle gardens are home to by taking part in the Big Butterfly Count. Plus butterfly craft activities.

Feast your eyes on a selection of beautiful British moths at the Butterfly Conservation tent and learn why we should be celebrating these butterflies of the night. Pot up a free pollinator plant and take it home to get growing your very own butterfly garden.

3 - 4 August

Join storytelling sessions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar children's book by Eric Carle.

Story readings of the timeless children's classic by Betty the Butterfly at 11:30, 13:00 and 14:30 with show and tell of live specimens.

Visit the Butterfly Conservation tent throughout the day [10:00 - 16:30] to see live specimens and hear what our native caterpillars really eat!

Activities included with admission ticket.
