Your perfect wedding day at Sudeley Castle

Located in the rolling Cotswold hills, we have limited availability each year, with only 20 exclusive weddings hosted. The castle has remaining availability for smaller ceremonies in 2020, and larger weddings in 2021, with a bespoke planning service and catering available from the in-house team.

Filled with exquisite antiques, fine art, tapestry and extensive collection of rare books, the Castle Library is perfectly-sized for a more intimate civil ceremony or vow renewal for up to 50 people.

While those looking for a larger affair can have a wedding blessing in the beautifully refurbished 15th century church or outside in the picturesque gardens, with space for up to 600 guests to celebrate in lavish marquee style.

Widely known as ‘the most romantic place in the Cotswolds’, Sudeley provides countless photo opportunities against whimsical ruins, gardens and even private castle areas, with entertainment including anything from vintage games to duck herding.

Guests can toast to the happy couple against the dramatic backdrop of the award-winning gardens – there are 10 to choose from – which promise an ever-evolving showcase of the beautiful British seasons. Followed by a wedding breakfast like no other in the grand Banqueting Hall or bright and airy Pavilion, with views across the valley.

Sudeley’s renowned Head Chef crafts each wedding menu on a bespoke basis, using local, seasonal produce; from light canapes and casual barbecues to more formal three-course dinners and heavenly banquets, with wine perfectly paired.

With everything in one place, Sudeley Castle also offers accommodation for up to 90 guests staying in the Farmhouse, cottages or unique Gatehouse; all within walking distance of the Castle and pretty village of Winchcombe.
