By special permission: Venture beyond the walls and into the private life of Sudeley castle with a tour that includes the private, family rooms usually closed to the public.

For more than 120 years Sudeley Castle has been the family home of the Dent-Brocklehurst’s. This tour offers insights into the modern-day family life along with stories and history of life at Sudeley through the ages. You’ll come away with fascinating discoveries about the Castle’s architecture, décor and use as a private, family home. This experience includes a tour of the family’s art collection including works by Rubens and van Dyke.

Available Monday to Friday at 11am or 2pm, subject to availability.

Please note, this tour does not cover the grounds, open castle rooms and exhibitions. Please allow enough time to enjoy these areas on your visit.

Due to the uneven terrain of this historic site and modernisation restrictions, we regret these tours are unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties and visitors under 12 years of age.
