St Mary’s Church
After sitting in ruins as a result of the Civil War, St. Mary’s Church was restored between 1855 and its rededication in 1863. Queen Katherine Parr lies entombed in the church, and is the only English queen to be buried on private land.
Our adventure playground will delight younger visitors and fuel their imaginations. It features a huge new fort full of hidey-holes, towers, bridges, climbing walls and slides. Kids can tackle the adventure trail around the play fort, which includes a10-piece obstacle course, zip wire, swings whilst you relax at our nearby picnic benches.
