Guide at Sudeley Castle

Sudeley Castle & Gardens are seeking Guides to join our dedicated team, helping to deliver engaging, informative, and enjoyable experiences for all visitors. As part of a site shaped by centuries of family stewardship, you will work alongside fellow guides, volunteers, and the wider team to share the rich history, art, architecture, and personalities of the Sudeley Castle Estate in a friendly and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage visitors in the Castle’s public rooms, using confident storytelling to bring Sudeley’s history to life.Deliver guided tours of the Castle and Gardens as required, sharing information clearly, accurately, and engagingly.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of the Castle’s history, collections, exhibitions, and key figures, responding to visitor questions with enthusiasm and insight.
• Manage visitor flow and help safeguard the Castle’s collections, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all.
• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the Castle, including events, educational activities, opening and closing duties, and following all safety and operational procedures.

This is a seasonal contract of a minimum of six hours per week from 14^th March to 1^st November 2026 with flexibility to cover weekends and holidays, and offers an hourly rate of £13.00. 28 days paid holiday per annum pro rata, including bank holidays.
