On the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, establishing the United States of America, Sudeley Castle & Gardens is celebrating its strong US connections with the launch of a self-guided QR-enabled exhibition; The American Connection.

In honour of the date, visitors are invited to gather at the Tithe Barn at midday where Lady Ashcombe will introduce the exhibition, followed by a brief talk from Sudeley's head of guides, Mike Reynolds, exploring three Englishmen connected to the Declaration of Independence and the USA (two from Gloucester). Guide Dale Scarboro will also read the Declaration of Independence to the gathering, with a touch of American style to be expected!
