Falconry at the Castle
Experience the ancient art of falconry at Sudeley Castle this summer.
On select dates throughout July and August, Walks with Hawks return to Sudeley Castle to share the thrill of seeing an exceptional variety of birds of prey.
As part of the experience, you'll observe their individual characteristics, breath-taking acrobatic skills and see first hand the wonderful partnership that exists between falconers and their birds.
Adding to your sense of history watch falconers in action, dressed in Tudor attire, and learn about Royal falconry displays.
From eagles to owls, our falconry display at Sudeley Castle is a memorable experience for those young and old.

Falconry & the Tudors
Falconry was HUGE in Tudor times. On your visit, hear about Henry VIII's visit to Sudeley with Anne Boleyn and how falconry was part of the celebrations, 490 years ago.
Fun Fact! Henry VIII was a keen falconer and Anne Boleyn even had a crowned white falcon as part of her badge.
