World-renowned American tenor and artistic director Jon Morrell returns to Sudeley for the latest from The Garage at Chatham (The GAC) at Sudeley Castle series, which held its successful inaugural recital at the castle in 2025.
The GAC is an acclaimed arts series founded in New York State in 2020 during the pandemic by Jon and his wife Adrienne in their specially adapted garage. Their ambition was to create relaxed musical events with world-class artists in the spirit of the 19th-century salon.
This late afternoon event sees Jon perform the Winterreise song cycle by Franz Schubert with the conductor Anthony Negus, musical director of the Longborough Festival Opera, in the beautiful surrounds of the Chapel.
Tickets include admission to Sudeley Castle & Gardens (open from 10am) on Sunday 20 September before the concert and a glass of wine or a soft drink in the Castle Coach House after the performance (duration approx. one hour).
