Step into the world of falconry, one of the oldest and most captivating traditions of the Medieval era, set against the historic backdrop of Sudeley Castle.

This immersive experience offers a rare chance to see magnificent birds of prey up close, as they soar, swoop and dive with breathtaking skill. Guided by an expert falconer, you’ll learn about these remarkable birds and witness their agility and power in flight - an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.

Whether you’re a nature lover, history enthusiast, or simply looking for a memorable day out, this is a thrilling encounter not to be missed.

These experiences will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays with static displays on the lawn between the Willow Maze and Brock the Badger exhibit (see visitor map on plan your visit page for details) followed by flying displays in the field behind (Home Park).

Please note due to high temperatures forecast on Thursday 13th August there will be a static display only.

What’s included

  • Discover different species of birds of prey
  • Photo opportunities with the birds
  • Informal meet‑and‑greets throughout the day
