Global migration of life-size elephant sculptures extended at Sudeley Castle

Due to popular demand, The Elephant Family has been extended for a further week!

Discover over 30 life-sized elephant sculptures, which form a unique trail weaving through the gardens and due to overwhelming demand, it has been extended until 6 June.

Enjoy an up-close experience with these enigmatic creatures, who will now graze the grounds until the first week of June and make for a memorable bank holiday or half term visit for families, groups and couples. Children can also enjoy the adventure playground, and the Castle Pantry and Terrace Café are both open serving up a range of delicious, locally-sourced lunch options.

Visitors to Sudeley are among the first in the UK to see the awe-inspiring sculptures grazing on the North Lawn and scattered in herds and groups across the 10 formal gardens, which mimic the Hills of Southern India where the elephants were first created by tribal communities for the leading conservation Elephant Family charity. The campaign uses indigenous art to turn green spaces into examples of successful human-animal coexistence, both locally and globally. These monumental art experiences, inspired by the Land Art movement create an enigmatic scene against the backdrop of the Cotswold hills.

All tickets for the Elephant Family must be pre-booked online and are on sale with limited availability at weekends, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note, to ensure visitor safety, only outdoor spaces will be open and the castle itself will remain closed until the 7th June.

Enjoy a fascinating day out at Sudeley
